Criteria for Membership

  1. Must be a Government or Publicly owned Utility, or if a Privately owned Utility presents an audited financial statement satisfactory to the Committee pursuant to the by-laws, Article III, Section 4 and submits a copy of its California Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity or proof of Public Service Agency Certificate as applicable, if required.
  2. Agrees to meet all terms, conditions and obligations contained within the current Agreement.
  3. The ability to demonstrate proof of sufficient insurance, self-insurance, or the financial ability to defend and to respond in damages to the kind of litigation usually incident to a utility business of the size of the applicant.
