Membership Application process

  1. Applicant must submit a formal letter requesting the requirements for membership application and state their purpose and nature of business.
  2. Upon receipt of the formal letter, the Committee office responds with a letter of requirements, (CPCN or WIR, audited financial statement, proof of liability) as well as the 1998 Joint Pole Agreement (enclosure), with reference to Section 6, Section 3, and a request for a non-refundable application fee of $2,200. 
  3. Upon receipt of application fee and all required documents, the Committee will begin the application review process.
  4. The applicant may be invited to a Board meeting for an interview. Prior to the interview, a questionnaire is sent to the applicant to aid in their preparation, and to aid the members in their dialogue.

05/19/2025 Alert: PENDING FINAL JPAS AT THE SCJPC OFFICE

Since August 9, 2024, the SCJPC office has been compiling and uploading a list of all received Final JPAs to the SCJPC SharePoint site. This is a reminder to SCJPC members to review the Excel file before resending JPAs to the SCJPC office.
